In 2022, Melbourne Racing Club’s charitable arm, the MRC Foundation, raised $270,000 for Koala Kids.
Founded by Nick Mandie, Koala Kids supports children and families impacted by cancer—bringing moments of joy and a sense of normalcy during incredibly difficult times.
The branding for this event remains one of my all-time favourites. With such a meaningful and sensitive cause, I was determined to portray it in the right light. I combined natural textures and illustrative nods to Australian flora representing Koala Kids, with a blue, modern script font echoing the evenings title. This all resulting in something truly special.
The branding rolled out beautifully across all print and digital touchpoints, setting the tone for a successful and heartfelt fundraising event.
